The Law Librarian of Congress, Roberta Shaffer, gave an amazing keynote address that helped kick off the AALL Vendor Colloquium in Chicago on Monday. I know that there were a number of members that would have like to have that keynote speech live streamed, but I’m going to try to do the next best thing

In February, Toby and I are going to participate in a Private Law Libraries Special Interest Section (PLL-SIS) of AALL discussing how law librarians’ skill sets can be used to support strategic Knowledge Management. Of course, Toby will be doing all the heavy lifting, and I’ll be sitting back asking him some off-the-wall questions.

AALL is accepting nominations for new products that are valuable to library services. “New Product” is being defined as having been in the market for less than two years, or has been substantially changed during that time.
