The Official Google Blog mentioned that they are bringing one of their features out of the shadows in order to help searchers find sites that are related to those in the search result. According to the post, Google has actually:

In the war between print and online content, he makes a valid point: Google’s role is to not steal content but to promote links.
Taking this point one step further,
The NYTimes reports that Virginia Democrat Representative Rick Boucher, who now chairs the House Subcommittee on telecommunications, technology and the internet, wants to write a law to require web surfers to “opt-in” to share personal information with trafficked web sites.
I’m sorry, but I just don’t think that is necessary.
