Bruce and Janet of AdamSmithEsq recently published an article on ATL about the reasonableness of firms providing PPMs to in-coming laterals. I believe the idea is sound. Since in-coming laterals are effectively investing in a privately held company, they should have access to the full financial picture of the company. A
I think this is one of the best awards that AALL presents to an outstanding member. Actually, it just makes me think back to when I was within my first 10 years of the profession (really, not that long ago) and how eager I was to get into the association, be involved, and make a difference.
